By Foot

To help plan your walking journey to the Centre,  visit the WalkIt website  This urban walking journey planner provides maps and detailed instructions, alongside step-free alternatives for those who have additional mobility needs. 

Howden Park Centre is a 10 minute walk from Livingston Shopping Centre and bus terminal.  

Head along Almondvale Boulevard following the pedestrian signs for the Civic Centre. Walking past the entrance to the Civic Centre use the pedestrian crossing on Howden South Road, follow the path ahead through Howden Park to the Centre.

By Bike

A bike rack is located at the main entrance for customers.  Livingston has an extensive network of walking and cycling off-road paths.

By Bus

Howden Park Centre is well served by buses it is a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal at Livingston Shopping Centre.

The closest bus stops are on Howden East and at the entrance to St John's Hospital, with both a 2 minute walk away.

By Train

Edinburgh Waverley - Livingston North
Journey time from: 23 mins (25min walk to Howden Park Centre)

Glasgow Queen Street - Livingston North

By Taxi

There are not many taxis available at taxi ranks outwith the town centre and it may not be easy to "wave down" a taxi in the street. However, you can pre-book a taxi or private hire car.  

We suggest putting a Livingston taxi number in your mobile and telephoning from the train.

Please note: if you are using a sat nav to locate the venue please use the postcode EH54 6BW.

This will direct you to Toronto Avenue, Howden Park Centre is clearly signposted from here.

From Edinburgh: M8, come off at Livingston (j3). Slip road to dual carriageway (A899).

From Glasgow: M8, come off at Livingston (j3). 1st exit off roundabout onto the dual
carriageway (A899).

Dual Carriageway to Howden Park Centre

A899 towards town centre exit Almondvale junction - exit marked Craigsfarm South (brown HPC tourist sign). At the bottom of the slip get into the right hand lane, take the 2nd exit from the roundabout. Left hand lane at the lights and follow the brown Howden Park Centre sign.

Through the roundabout to the next one (Civic Centre on your left) and take 3rd exit. Turn left at the next Howden Park Centre sign (into Toronto Avenue). Left into Howden Park. Follow the road to the end.

Visit Us

Parking

Free parking - 115 spaces (8 disabled) for venue users. There is a parking system in place, please remember to log your car registration if you are in the venue before 6pm.  Parking is free after 6pm and at the weekend.  Parking restrictions also apply to Blue Badge holders.

The car park may be locked when the venue is closed.

Howden Park Centre's public areas are fully accessible for those with limited mobility.
